The quantum of waste generation is sharply arising in recent era due to the rapid urbanization and growth in individual household income and thus, handling it in an eco-friendly way is a catastrophic challenge to the environmentalists. Whereas, the cost attributed to scientific management and disposal of this mammoth quantum of waste is significantly higher. Therefore the trajectory of the book tried to explore the potential of various macro-organisms namely, Hermetia illucens, Galleria mellonella, and Megaselia scalaris towards the conversion and stabilization of the heterogeneous solid waste and derivation of the co-products from the same platform. The quality and utility of three prime waste-derived products in the form of compost, bio-diesel, and fish meal has been explicitly discussed and an idea of small-scale entrepreneurship is distinctively pitched in front of the intellectual readers. The hypothesis projected in the book will be definitely proven to be a vital piece of information for juvenile researchers and budding professionals in the field of waste management, but the scope is not only restricted to the above-delineated professionals.
