This research aims to analyse the main integration mechanisms between project management and process management methodologies for the activation of the Macro Southeast Care Network of the Urgency and Emergency Care Network of the Minas Gerais State Government, from a managerial perspective, based on the perceptions of the main managers involved in this initiative. This is an exploratory, qualitative study, based on bibliographical research into the literature on project management and process management, with a focus on public administration; documentary research, based on legislation and other documents and records on the Macro Southeast Care Network of the Minas Gerais State Government's Urgency and Emergency Care Network; and field research, based on semi-structured interviews with the main managers involved in implementing and activating the aforementioned network.
