The first years of education in the life of the human being are of great relevance for his future, being in childhood where habits and customs begin to take root and where the structure of life begins to be founded; that is why the teachers of the initial level play a fundamental role in this stage, since it is the educator who helps children in the exploration of the world that surrounds them. In this research, the various strategies used as tools to achieve good educational practices in the initial level of the Padre Sillas Elementary School were presented through a descriptive study where the theoretical bases were established to understand what are good educational practices, and what are the strategic competencies that the initial level teacher should have. Likewise, by means of the exploratory method, an interview was conducted with early childhood teachers in which their teaching methods were questioned. These data show the importance of the topic, since the teachers of this school should integrate the appropriate strategic competencies in their professional work.
