Integrity's Plight revolves around a collision between two oil tankers, resulting in a massive oil slick that inundates the San Francisco Bay. David Morris, the story's protagonist, leads his company's public relations efforts in an attempt to calm public furor over the accident. Unbeknownst to Morris, his efforts are undermined by his own corporation's executives, who have a financial interest in placing blame on the other company. A series of unethical events undertaken by those same executives leads Morris to try uncovering the truth. He suffers greatly for his efforts, and as he gets closer to the truth the more his life, and the lives of his loved ones, are placed in danger. When Morris realizes that he has discovered illegal stock activity in the midst of a multi-billion dollar hostile takeover, he tries to retreat; only to find that others involved believe he knows too much and feel he has passed the point of withdrawal. Morris must now fashion a solution to a problem that could cost him everything, while staying one step ahead of the forces trying to silence him. That is his "Integrity's Plight".

Autorenporträt
Gregory is the third of six siblings born to Marcus and Doris Bell. His father served twenty two years in the US Air Force before retiring in 1972. His main reason for leaving the Air Force was to ensure that all of his children could receive a quality education in one location; a location that both he and Doris could personally supervise. Their active involvement in their children's education is why five out of their six children graduated from college and all five have advanced degrees. Gregory attended the California State University at Hayward in Hayward California, graduating in 1979 with a B.A in Mass Communication. Following his father's military footsteps, Bell participated in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp at U.C. Berkeley. Commissioned in the U.S. Air Force as a Second Lieutenant, he began his career as a Public Affairs Officer at Beale Air Force Base in Marysville California. He would later be stationed in San Antonio, Texas; RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom and lastly in Dallas Texas. He would also go on to earn a Master's in Public Administration from Troy State University, Alabama, in 1989. Bell left the Air Force to attend the University of Washington School Of Law, graduating in June 1995 and becoming a member of the Washington State Bar Association in February 1996.
