This book is a carefully calibrated approach in the integration of digital and telecommunications resources to reduce post harvest loss in agricultural productivity in Ghana. It is a proof of concept of solutions designed to override the ubiquitous deficit in basic infrastructure common in Ghana, applying cloud computing, artificial intelligence and telecommunications to accommodate shortcomings inherent in the land tenure system that does not lend itself to modern farming practices. This concept in its composition offers a cost-effective approach to achieving a stable and sustainable supply chain, and to address the stranglehold of post harvest loss on the productivity of the small hold farmer in Ghana. In addition to its principal purpose, it is intended to generate debate on the narrative of the inevitability of innovation in the agricultural sector. Innovations that will be powered by increased capacity on one hand and agricultural best practices on the other.
