The Bibliometric and Scientometric study is widely used in Library & Information Science discipline for mapping of scientific research growth, authorship pattern, research collaboration, author's productivity etc. The research output in the form of research papers in peer-reviewed scholarly journals, conference papers and other forms of publications is being considered as one of the main criteria for assessing the performance of the university scientists and faculty members. The main objective of the present study is to analyze the research productivity of Faculty members working in six different schools of SRTM University, Nanded during 2009 to 2014. The present study focuses attention on the bibliometric analysis of the intellectual assets in the form of research publications, productivity of scientists, pattern of publications, authorship pattern, degree of collaboration, Collaborative Co-efficient value, applicability of Empirical laws, relative growth rate and doubling time, communication channels, motivational factors, preferred e-resources by the faculty members thus, journal coverage (core journals in specific discipline) most productive author during the study period.
