The present work was developed under the modality of systematization of experience corresponding to the evaluation and diagnosis phase. The practice was part of the project "Promotion of an Inclusive Culture" that took place in a prestigious Educational Institution in the city of Guayaquil between 2019 and 2020. From the cognitive perspective it was intended to produce knowledge to improve the evaluative processes within the framework of SEN. In order to reconstruct the experience, sources of information were used, such as reports, weekly activity reports, results of the instruments, among others. Critical reflection was oriented to the analysis of the dimensions evaluated by the instruments in accordance with the objectives pursued in the project. It is concluded that the Rias and Stroop tests were adequate instruments to evaluate intelligence in a broad manner, adjusting to the objectives of the project. However, factors such as the preparation of the environment before the application of the instruments, as well as the preparation of the evaluator, should be considered.
