Dr. Arunesh Kumar Singh graduated in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech. in Engineering Systems from the Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He has been awarded Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 2011. He has been awarded Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) for 17 months from the University of Saskatchewan under Discovery Grant-NSERC, Canada. He worked as Jr. Telecom Officer (Executive) in B.S.N.L. from 2009 to 2011 and then joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia as Assistant Professor in February 2011. He has more than 14 years of experience in teaching & industry and he is actively involved in guiding research scholars at UG, PG & Ph.D. levels. He has completed a research project sponsored by UGC and also got a project from SERB. He is a Life Member of the System Society of India (SSI), a Senior Member of IEEE, a Member of IE(I), a Professional Engineer of IE(I), Professional Member of ACDOS (NMO IFAC). He is the recipient of BHARAT VIKAS AWARD-2018 for outstanding performance in the field of Electrical Machines & Neuro-control by ISR, Bhubaneswar. His research area is intelligent systems, soft & quantum computing, Neuro-control systems, Eddy current control systems, and Neuro & machine controls. His one patent is published in October 2021 on multi-disc ECBS. He has published various research papers in refereed journals & conferences of national and international repute. Dr. Bhavnesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Netaji Suhas University of Technology (NSUT), Delhi. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, and a Master of Technology degree in Control & Instrumentation from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. He has earned a Ph.D. from Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida in the area of artificial intelligent controllers for induction motor drives. With a teaching experience of more than ten years, he served Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, the Airports Authority of India, and KNGD Modi Engineering College, Modinagar before joining NSUT. He has published various research papers in journals and conferences. He has presented his research work at many international conferences. He is a member of various professional bodies such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). His research interest is in the application of artificial intelligence to renewable energy systems and electric drives. Prof. Ibraheem is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India since 2002. He joined the Department as a Lecturer in January 1988. Before Joining Jamia Millia Islamia, he had served Delhi Development Authority for a considerable time. Dr. Ibraheem received the B.Sc. Engineering (Hons.), M.Sc. Engineering and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 1982, 1987, and 2000, respectively. He had been Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering from 2002 to 2005. His current activities include teaching and research in the areas of power system control, optimal control theory, suboptimal control of power systems, applications of soft computing techniques in power systems, and HVDC transmission systems. Dr. Ibraheem is a member of various academic societies of national and international repute. He has been engaged continuously in guiding research activities at the graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Seven Ph.D. degrees are already in his name as supervisor/co-supervisor and 12 Ph.D. research scholars are doing their research work under his guidance. He has published more than a hundred (115) research articles in international/National Journals. He was awarded Gold Medal from the Union Ministry of Power and Energy (India) in 1998 for one of his research articles. He Chaired many sessions at national and international seminars/ conferences/ workshops. He got grants from AICTE, UGC, and DST for research projects. He has been an expert committee member for various committees of UGC, National Board of Accreditation, UPSC, HRD, Staff Selection Commission, etc. The Central Govt. appointed him as a Member of the Dargah Committee Ajmer for five years from 24-08-2007 and worked as Vice President of the Committee. Prof. Asheesh K Singh is a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh). He completed his B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) from HBTI Kanpur in 1991, M.Tech. (Control Systems) from REC Kurukshetra in 1994 and earned his doctorate from IIT Roorkee in 2007. Since 1995, he has been on the academic staff of MNNIT Allahabad, India. His research interests include power quality, e-mobility, smart metering, AI applications in power systems, energy management, and smart grid. He has published more than 100 research publications in peer-reviewed International Journals and Conferences. He has authored 01 book and 12 book chapters and organized several short-term faculty development programs focusing on various power system issues. He has delivered over 50 lectures at various national and international forums. He has supervised 13 Doctoral and 54 M.Tech theses. Also, he has procured research funding of over INR 1.5 Crore since 2015, from various international and national funding agencies. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Educational (ISTE), a Life Member of the System Society of India (SSI), and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India). His active participation in IEEE activities highlights his professional services. As an IEEE member of the Uttar Pradesh Section, he volunteered as the Section Chair of the IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section from 2019 to 2020, and the Vice-chair (Sections and sub-sections) of the IEEE India Council, in the year 2021. Prof. Singh is a recipient of the Outstanding Engineer Award (OEA) - 2020 of IEEE PES UP Section Chapter, for his outstanding technical, professional, educational, and social contributions to the power engineering profession. Prof. Shahida Khatoon obtained her B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1990 and M. Tech in Controls and Instrumentation from IIT Delhi in 1995. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2004. Prof. Khatoon has published about 100 research papers in the area of Controls and Power System engineering in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. Her research area includes Control Systems Engineering, Robotics and Automation, soft computing techniques and their applications in power systems, control systems, and electronics engineering. Prof. Khatoon has delivered many invited lectures at various institutes and conferences. Prof. Shahida is a member of various academic societies of national and international repute. She has been Track Chair of the IEEE International Conference INDICON-2015 and IEEE INDIACOM 2020 and a technical committee member of many IEEE conferences. She has been invited as a subject expert in many public service commissions and Industries. Apart from academics, she has contributed to the corporate life of the university; worked as deputy Provost from 2003-2008, and currently, she is serving the university as Deputy Dean, Student Welfare. Moreover, she is a reviewer for the international journal of power components and systems, a Taylor and Francis publication. In addition, she has also worked on a research project in AT & T Bell Lab, New Jersey, USA in 2001 and has attended many continuing education programs in North Carolina, USA during her visits in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
