In this book, intelligent control schemes for electro -rheological (ER) and magnetorheological (MR) mounts were proposed. Beside the well-known constant control and skyhook control, we proposed adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC), fuzzy sliding mode control (FSMC) to obtain vibration attenuation. After that, this book presents a new control combine ASMC and FSMC: adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control (AFSMC). This control can cancel unwanted disturbance in ER or MR mounts without system modeling.
