Does Christianity work in real life anymore? If so, how does one live with integrity for a lifetime? An examination of Job 31 gives us a great example of faith lived out in a crisis. Job shows resolve in his commitment to Christ, resulting in a life of integrity we can follow. The book of Job comes to life in the storm and Job's integrity survives the ash heap! His adversity becomes his teacher, finally revealing Job as the small servant of God he is, his comforters as the pretenders they are, and Shaddai as the wise Redeemer who vindicates His glory. Garnett Reid shares examples from the life of Job and shows what it means to live out a life of integrity. He also gives great insight into the value a life of integrity brings to the individual. In a world full of lost integrity, this work shows us a vital foundation and encourages us to build a life of integrity so we can survive the ash heap as well.
