In this regard, this book attempts to throw light into this slightly investigated issue so far. The book contextually analyzes the Amhara-Afar inter-ethnic conflict in Kewot and Semurobi-Gela'alo areas. Depicting the historical contexts of the conflict management and resolution processes in the area is also endeavored in the book. In the main, the book analyzes the conflict transformation attempts in the area. The wideranging strong and feeble sides of the transformation practice are identified. Finally, the book forwards some recommendations that are presumed to take the practice to a higher level of success.
Autorenporträt
Anteneh Alemu is currently a lecturer at Debre Berhan University where he has been working since 2008. He completed his BA degree in Political Science and International Relations and his MA degree in Peace and Security Studies at Addis Ababa University. His research interests lie in the areas of peace, security and conflict studies.
