The objectives of this book were to design a visualization of patient-specific medication histories and to implement an interactive prototype, which can be used in daily treatment settings. For this purpose, the characteristics and use cases of existing projects addressing visualization of medication data were examined. Both, projects in literature and medication documentation deployed in Austrian hospitals were analyzed. Furthermore, qualitative interviews were conducted with Austrian doctors, in order to assess their current requirements regarding medication documentation. Fabian Filip was born in 1992 south of Vienna and finished his masters degree in medical informatics at the Technical University of Vienna in 2018. His informatics projects are mostly concerned with medical treatment settings in direct patient care. Since 2016 he is working for a company established in this particular field.
