Historically, political strategies have been employed to assist dispute resolution in political conflicts, such as those found in the Middle East and elsewhere. This book asserts that the business and cultural concepts of change management can be an additional source to facilitate conflict resolution. There are several reasons for this. First, they offer a complement to the political analysis process. Second, businesses have been interacting successfully on a global basis for years with respect to joint ventures, competitive factors, managing culturally diverse workforces, and responding appropriately to behavior that might be deemed irrational in onve cultural setting, and normal in another.
