Dr. Maja Arslanagi¿-Kalajdi¿ is Associate Professor at the Marketing Department of the School of Economics and Business (SEBS), University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and Head of the Center for Research and Development at the University of Sarajevo. She holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. In 2016 and 2017, she worked as Post-doctoral Researcher at the Chair of International Marketing, Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics, University of Vienna. She is Member of the American Marketing Association and the European Marketing Academy. Dr. Arslanagi¿-Kalajdi¿ has been awarded for her excellence in Ph.D. studies by the Rector of University of Ljubljana in 2016, and she has been selected as the Danubius Young Scientist Award for her research excellence in 2018. She has co-authored more than 50 journal articles in leading scientific journals, two books, a monograph, several edited books, and several book chapters. She has presentedher research at more than 60 international scientific conferences. She has over 15 years of professional experience and is also Expert and Researcher in various projects funded by national and international institutions. Dr. Naida Ademovi¿ is Associate Professor at the University of Sarajevo-Faculty of Civil Engineering (Bosnia and Herzegovina). She holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Sarajevo. She received her 5-year Diploma (Bachelor of Science) at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sarajevo, the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2004, she received a Master of Science degree in "Computational Engineering" from Rühr University in Bochum, Germany. In 2011, she obtained her second master's degree (Advanced Master in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions-SAHC) from the University of Minho, Portugal, and the University of Padova, Italy. SAHC program won an EU Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Award in 2017. As well, she is Associate Professor at the Center of the Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the new master program "Natural Disasters Risk Management in Western Balkan Countries". She co-authored six books and published over 120 peer-reviewed papers in leading scientific journals and conferences and several book chapters. She is Editor of several conference proceedings published by Springer. She has over 22 years of professional experience and is also Expert and Researcher in various projects funded by national and international institutions. Dr. Tijana Tufek Memievi¿ is Architect, Urbanist and Sustainable Urban Development Specialist. She is Principal of a multidisciplinary design and research company in Chicago and Licensed Architect in BiH. Dr. Tijana Tufek Memievi¿ obtained her master's degree from the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina and her Ph.D. from the Cracow University of Technology in Poland, where she is currently engaged as Visiting Professor. In addition, she has been appointed as Member of the scientific committee of the International Society of City and Regional Planners advising on major technical planning issues. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Dr. Tufek Memievi¿ has worked in various capacities encompassing architectural practice, consulting on urban planning policy, teaching at international universities in Sarajevo and Cracow, publishing research in scientific journals, editorial work, and leading research initiatives in sustainable urban development with national and international institutions. She has effectively spearheaded and coordinated numerous international scientific symposia and workshops specifically focused on smart, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities. Additionally, she is Member of the American Planning Association (APA) and International Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) where she served on the Committee for the Environment for Northeast Illinois in 2022.
