During this period, the prevalence of CNM was estimated at 1.98%.There was a female predominance; the M/F sex ratio was 0.69 and the mean age was 40.1 ±11 years with a median of 41.50 years and extremes of 15 and 64 years.Clinical symptoms were dominated by headache in 88.71%, meningeal syndrome in 53.23%, vomiting in 41.94%, behavioral disorders in 40.32% and fever in 27%.CNM was associated with other comorbidities such as pulmonary tuberculosis (37%), disseminated tuberculosis (23%), toxoplasmosis (15%), malaria (15%), purulent meningitis (6%) and renal failure (5%).
