In this work, it can be seen that the preservationist current is not a determining factor among the Consortium's objectives, even though it is carrying out preservation actions, it is aiming for growth and development in terms of production, cultivation and herd numbers in its establishments. In conservationism, rural producers see a way of preserving the environment and extracting a form of income and subsistence from it, maximizing production over time and guaranteeing sustainable agriculture and livestock farming. On the other hand, the intervening bodies created the Altamiro de Moura Pacheco and João Leite parks with the aim of conserving the João Leite dam with enough drinking water to supply the municipality of Goiânia and the metropolitan region. Socio-environmentalism should be the Consortium's main focus in its actions and planning, but it can be seen that even with the search for an increase in production, a reduction in the area under cultivation, or a reduction in theareas where livestock is raised in order to preserve and conserve the environment, the Consortium has not presented or developed any programs aimed at a line of credit or fiscal and financial incentives.
