This text explores international business economics from a specifically European perspective, dealing not only within business in Europe but with the external trading relationships of the EU and the position of European firms in a globalized economy. The book engages with the macroeconomic and policy issues involved with European integration, trade, labour markets as opposed to simply taking a 'microeconomic' perspective. An extensive website will keep the book up-to-date in terms of case studies and provides lecturers with support material including additional exercises and seminar material.
