The International Handbook of Medical Education takes the lead by giving students access to basic medical education, knowledge and skills, presented in a simple and interactive format. The Handbook provides students with a tool to guide them on the road to success during their academic lives and beyond by helping to improve study skills, such as reading, writing, searching and research, and giving students essential information on assessment skills, such as answering multiple-choice questions and preparing for objective structured clinical examination.

Dr. Ibrahim Al Alwan, MRCP (UK) FAAP, FRCPC, is Dean of the College of Medicine and Associate Professor of Pedicatrics at KSAU-HS and President of the Association of Medical Education in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (AMEEMR). Dr. Alwan also serves as a Consultant, Pediatrician and Pediatric Endocrinologist at the National Guard Health Affairs. Prof. Mohi Eldin Mohammed Ali Magzoub, MBBS, MSC, PhD, MFPHM, is Chairman of the Department of Medical Education, College of Medicine, KSAU-HS. Professor Magzoub is also the newly appointed Secretary General of the Association of Medical Education in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (AMEEMR). Prof. Margaret Elzubeir, B.A. (Hons), PhD is responsible for the Curriculum Development Unit of the Department of Medical Education, College of Medicine, KSAU-HS.
