Autorenporträt
Judge Antônio Augusto Cançado Trindade was Judge of the International Court of Justice (2009-2022) and former Judge and President of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (1995-2006 and 1999-2003). He was Emeritus Professor of Public International Law at the University of Brasilia, and Member of the Institut de Droit International and of the Curatorium of The Hague Academy of International Law. Judge Cançado Trindade was the author of 78 books and around 800 academic articles and contributions to collective works, in different languages, within the fields of international law and human rights. Damián A. González-Salzberg is Associate Professor of Law (University of Birmingham) and Professor of Law (Universidad de Buenos Aires). Currently based in Birmingham (UK), Damian teaches and researches in the area of international human rights. He is also a Professor at UBA (Argentina) for the intensive PhD programme, where he teaches a course on gender, sexuality, and human rights. Damian is the author of Sexuality and Transsexuality under the European Convention of Human Rights (Hart 2019) and the co-editor (with Loveday Hodson) of Research Methods for International Human Rights Law (Routledge 2019).
