This book is an inquiry into the international legal development aimed at providing remedies to the impact caused by non-international armed conflict on minors in Africa whether as victims or as perpetrators. The issue has been addressed from four main interdisciplinary perspectives. The impact raised in this section pushes the research to delve into the available law on the subject that can be used to remedy the situation of minors during and after non-international conflict. The book argues that, if not for the veto power within the Security Council, customary international law would have substantial impact in the protection of minors under NIAC. The last chapter of the book aimed at setting out a conclusion on the central theme of the book and at the same time, attempting to give some useful recommendations to both politician as well as practitioners

Julius Toh Timngum is currently an Assistant lecturer in the Faculty of law and Political Science, department of Public law, University of Bamenda-Cameroon. He holds an LLM and a PhD from the Faculty of law, department of Public law and International law, Justus-Liebig University Giessen-Germany.
