There are lots of international students who come to a different country to receive their education so it is important for office personnel to have good communication with them. So the book aimed to find out what international students think about verbal and non-verbal communication of the international registration office personnel at the universities in North Cyprus. Whether they find the way they communicate courteous or not. Totally, 100 questionnaires were distributed and analyzed using SPPS version 22. Both hypotheses that improvements in verbal and non-verbal communication cause significant changes in courteousness were accepted at 5% significance level. The originality of the study lies in its proof against Brown and Levinson's theory that individuals do not always act in a rational manner. The study also shows that acts of impoliteness are as a result of individual's decisions not to show courteousness.
