Emmanuel Mourlon-Druol is Lord Kelvin Adam Smith Fellow in the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow, and is the author of A Europe Made of Money: the Emergence of the European Monetary System (2012). Federico Romero is Professor of History of Post-War European Cooperation and Integration, European University Institute, Florence, and author/editor of 14 books (in English and Italian), including Reinterpreting the End of the Cold War (edited with S. Pons, Routledge 2005) and The Frontier of National Sovereignty: History and Theory 1945-1992 (with A.S. Milward, F. Lynch, R. Ranieri and V. Sorensen, Routledge, 1993).
