The goal of this work is to understand the interplay among different ions of varying valencies and atomic radii over a wide range, as they enter complex crystal structures as dopants or substitutes. Multifunctional nature of various iron-titanium oxides makes them attractive candidates for novel applications in which their coupled semiconductor, magnetic, dielectric and optical properties can be exploited .This study delves into the mixed metal ceramic structures , namely, pseudobrookites, spinels and perovskites.
