Interventional radiology armoured with diagnostic imaging and advances in imaging diagnostics such as, Cross section non-invasive imaging such as CT or MR or Digital Substraction Angiographic (DSA) imaging is helpful for assessment of the extent of the disease, associated lesions, or multifocality of involvement. Interventional radiological techniques in management of vascular anomalies include sclerotherapy, embolization, (endovascular and direct puncture) with different sclerosing agents, embolization agents act as a definitive therapy or an adjunct to surgery, is a promising treatment modality in literature pertaining management of vascular lesions of head and neck.
