Autorenporträt
Yvette Zgonc has 35 years of experience as a teacher, guidance counselor, parent educator, national and international presenter. She is a former senior consultant for Literacy First, Brevard County Teacher of the Year, and is Brain-Based Certified with the Jensen Learning Corporation. Yvette is the author of Sounds in Action, and a contributing author to Prepping the Brain, and Cooperative Discipline. She is presently retired and lives in Melbourne, Florida with her husband and grown children and their families nearby. Dr. Kimberly Zgonc, Yvette's daughter-in-law, has 25 years of experience as a special education teacher, and curriculum consultant. As a full professor, she currently teaches elementary and special education methods courses at Indian River State College. She received the 2016 J. Douglas Stephens Endowed Teaching Chair and the 2017 League for Innovations John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Award. She lives in Melbourne, Florida with her husband and two sons.
