It is set out in three sections, intimacy with God, intercession and increase with John 17 being a guiding passage. Within each day there are scriptures to read, thoughts to consider, reflections to ponder and action points to undertake. Interwoven throughout are real-life stories that give testimony to the work of God and the power of prayer in people's lives. The desire is that these will inspire the reader to see what is possible through a life of prayer and obedience. Lyndal J Walker is the international prayer director for Youth for Christ International. She has had a passion for prayer ever since seeing the Transformations videos as a young adult, desiring to see transformation of whole communities through the gospel. For ten years she lived and worked in the Top End of the Northern Territory, Australia, mainly with First Nations youth in a variety of capacities, including chaplaincy, teaching, house parenting, and prison ministry. In 2016, Lyndal completed her masters of education researching the perspectives on education of disengaged First Nations youth.She worked as the National Prayer Coordinator for Youth for Christ Australia (YFCA) for two and a half years before transitioning to the international role. Her journey with YFCA began in 2015 with a desire to see young people walking in their true identity in Christ and living a life of intimacy with Him. She believes young people can become lifelong disciples of Jesus, living in the freedom and power of the gospel and bringing the kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven."Lyndal travels the world to train and equip people in intimacy, intercession, and prayer evangelism, and she releases the prophetic to encourage the body of Christ to be all God created it to be.
