Yvonne Blackwood is the author of Into Africa: A Personal Journey (2000 & 2020), Will That be Cash or Cuffs? (2005), Into Africa: the Return (2009), Nosey Charlie Comes to Town (2018), Nosey Charlie Goes to Court (2018), Nosey Charlie Chokes on a Wiener (2018), and College Life of a Retired Senior (2023). She won the Canadian Authors Association's short story award in 2000. Yvonne worked in the financial industry for many years and was a bank manager and account manager for several small and medium-sized businesses during her career. She has a BA in English and enjoys theatre, film, and travel. She lives in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
