From the depths of grief to the heights of power-her journey begins. In the quiet streets of a small Texas town a hidden war rages, and young Janey Santiago's life is about to be forever altered by a secret legacy and a mysterious power. The night her father - a covert vigilante battling the darkness threatening their community - falls in a heroic struggle, Janey is thrust into a world she never knew existed. Witnessing a mesmerizing transfer of power in her father's final moments, Janey inherits a destiny she never asked for but is determined to honor. Armed with her father's mask and a burgeoning power within, she must navigate the shadows he left behind, facing the very forces that claimed his life. Guided by her father's enigmatic ally and inspired by the tales of heroism she adored in her comics, Janey embarks on a perilous journey to understand her new abilities. With telepathic talents and her father's legacy as her compass, she becomes the beacon of hope her town desperately needs. But can Janey rise as the champion her father believed her to be, or will the weight of her new identity crush her? Into Dust: Where every shadow hides a story, and a new hero is born from the darkest of nights. "Janey Santiago is the Wonder Woman of West Texas-she's an anti-hero that is growing into something bigger than she may even realize." - A.J. Mayers, author of FINAL BOARDING Page Up and Order Now.
