JEANINE LONG TUOHY. This is Jeanine's second published children's book, following her debut, Kalani and Ava's Big Wish, written in 2021 for her soon-to-arrive grandchildren. Her new book, Into the Abyss with Dominic, Cami, Ava, and Kalani, features all four grandchildren as they're transported to 1970s San Francisco. Guided by Uncle Mike, they explore the Bernal Heights neighborhood, discovering how kids navigated life without modern technology while learning the importance of community, connection, and friendship.
