Autorenporträt
After spending a year living the van life with his girlfriend on the backroads of America, filling a stack of notebooks with details of their journey, River Phillips returned to the Mid-South and began writing his first book, Into The Boondocks, covering the rugged year-long excursion he and the love of his life embarked on in the summer of 2015. Four years later, in the summer of 2019, a few months after parting ways with Trooper, we bought a Ford Econoline. We stripped out the interior and began converting it into an off-grid home on wheels.
