Autorenporträt
Dr. Breithaupt is currently Director of Research and Development, Medical Council of Canada (retired). She also holds the position of adjunct professor, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Ottawa. She served as Director of Psychometrics and Research at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) from 2000 to 2010. Krista completed her PhD and MA in Educational Measurement from the University of Ottawa and holds a BA with High Honors in Developmental Psychology from Carleton University. She has authored over 40 scientific articles and book chapters in psychometrics and modern testing technologies. She has served on a variety of committees with her professional association, the National Council for Measurement in Education, including the Graduate Mentoring, Career Contribution and Publications committees. Krista has been an invited speaker, reviewer, and moderator for a variety of international conferences in psychometrics, accounting, and medical education over her 25 year career. Her experience and knowledge is also shared through consultation services for large scale testing organizations and on technical advisory boards governing high stakes tests. Krista lives in Ottawa, Ontario, near her adult daughter, her mother, and her oldest brother. Krista has resumed her creative pursuits of painting and drawing and now puts her knowledge of education and developmental psychology to use by volunteering in her local public school. This is Krista's first publication outside of her scientific endeavors.
