Autorenporträt
Veronica Rossi, in Rio de Janeiro/Brasilien geboren, zog in ihrer Kindheit oft um und lebte in Mexiko, Venezuela, an der Ostküste der USA und schließlich in Kalifornien. Hier besuchte sie die Universität und studierte Schöne Künste am Californian College of the Arts in San Francisco. Heute lebt sie mit ihrer Familie im Norden Kaliforniens und arbeitet als freie Autorin. Sie schreibt vor allem futuristische Romane für junge Erwachsene. Erste Ehren erwarb sie mit bisher unveröffentlichten Manuskripten auf amerikanischen Autoren-Wettbewerben, wo sie in der Kategorie Fantasy und Science Fiction auf den vordersten Plätzen rangierte.
