El Dr. Donald E. Demaray has served on the faculty of Asbury Theological Seminary since 1966 and in 1991 became professor emeritus of preaching at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. Prior to coming to Asbury, Dr. Demaray was a professor and dean of the School of Religion at Seattle Pacific College (now University). In addition, he served as a pastor in the Free Methodist Church and has taught and preached in Japan, England, Scotland, South Africa, Northern Ireland, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia. He has written, edited and compiled over thirty books. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh.
