John Flowerdew is a Visiting Chair at the University of Lancaster and a Visiting Research Fellow at Birkbeck, University of London. He was previously a professor at City University of Hong Kong and at the University of Leeds. Pejman Habibie is an Assistant Professor of TESOL & Applied Linguistics at Western University, Canada. His research interests include EAP, writing for scholarly publication, and academic literacies. He is also a founding co-editor of the Journal of English for Research Publication Purposes.
