Djandue Bi Drombe es marfileño, casado y padre de dos hijas. Es doctor en didáctica de la lengua y la literatura por la Universidad de Granada (España) y DEA en literatura española por la Universidad Félix Houphouët-Boigny de Abiyán. Es profesor en esta universidad desde finales de 2014.
