Dr. Ruma Rano obtained M.Sc. in Chemistry form V.B.U, Hazaribag in 1999, M.Phil.(Applied Chemistry) from ISM, Dhanbad in 2001 and Ph.D. from ISM, Dhanbad in 2006. Her area of interest is Characterisation and Utilisation of Environmental solid waste materials. She is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, NIT Silchar since 2007.
