Dr Colin Combe is a senior lecturer in strategic management at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU). He is academic lead for the MSc International Business Management programme and teaches modules in strategic management, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship and innovation to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. His research interests are in sustainable innovation strategies, innovation in the creative industries and e-commerce. Previously, he has worked as research consultant for the World Bank culminating in a report into business capacities in Eastern Europe. Colin has generated research income by representing GCU on the ERDF funded INNOVATE project that focused on economic growth strategies for the knowledge-based and creative industries in the Atlantic Area of Europe. He has also been GCU principal investigator for the ERDF funded HARVEST ATLANTIC project researching economic development of the maritime economy and lead partner for the 4H-CREATE project for the development of innovation in the creative industries. He is the author of two books on e-commerce and management.
