Dr. Camaraza-Medina ist Mitglied des Redaktionsausschusses von vier in Scopus indexierten Fachzeitschriften, Autor von sechs Büchern und mehr als 60 Artikeln über Wärmeübertragung. Für seine Forschungsarbeit wurde er mehrfach ausgezeichnet, unter anderem mit zwei Patenten der Mexikanischen Akademie der Wissenschaften.
