In 2020 I published the book El conocer humano. On the reality of things and truth 2020, based on intuition without explaining what intuition is and why it is intuition, which is nothing more than human freedom. In this book I want to justify this exclusively human mental function and analyze the why of the linguistic act, human creativity. This book deals with the radical problem of the being and existence of man in the world. To study the human being is to analyze the relation he has with things, pragmatic matters, created by the cognizing subject. There are therefore three implicit problems: the problem of man's being in the world, the problem of the reality of things, and the problem of the truth of what is represented by language. All three are rooted in the act of knowing in which I am the cognizing subject, and things constitute the known object. The linguistic act is the synthesis of sensibility and understanding, always guided by the imagination. Knowing determines saying and saying determines speaking. Knowing, saying and speaking are the result of an unpublished individual intuition of the cognizing subject.
Autorenporträt
Jesús Martínez del Castillo studies the being of man in language, a reality that materializes daily in the linguistic act, the act of knowing, saying and speaking. He is the author of La lingüística de decir 2004 and 2017, a discipline proposed by Ortega y Gasset and developed by the author on the basis of E. Coseriu's theory of speaking.
