The classified forest of Monts Kouffé, although classified and benefiting from a participatory management plan, is subject to strong anthropic pressures. The mammalian fauna is not spared from this anthropic pressure. This study aims to contribute to the conservation of animal resources in the said forest on the Manigri side. The stigmatic method of Braun Blanquet was used to collect phytoecological data to characterize the mammalian habitat. Seven line transects were walked twice and one respective U-shaped transect of eight kilometers in length were walked to inventory the fauna and the threats to its habitat. A total of 25 mammal species in 19 families were identified. The most represented families are the Cercopithecidae with 6 species, and the Pteropodidae with 2 species. In addition, timber exploitation, poaching and overgrazing are the main factors in the disappearance of mammals and their habitats. Faced with this degradation, effective protection measures are necessary.
