Pre-stack data utilized to apply elastic impedance inversion (EI) and extract AVO attributes .The Blackfoot 3D seismic dataset are employed for this study. This book provides an overview of steps is used to apply inversion and extract AVO attributes. Processing the 3D seismic dataset is essential step before starting the inversion. The results show that post-stack inversion gave the best results. The pre-stack inversion and elastic imedance inversion show similar result with higher impedance compared with post-stack inversion. AVO attributes gave unsatisfactory result because of the low quality of data and the low coverage of seismic data except for the center where the highest coverage is
