As a culmination of an extremely important academic stage, which yielded me the Degree in Chemistry in 2016, this book addresses the importance, attention and interest focused on studies and research on the identity of our teachers, leading me to an investigation of how the construction of identity among high school chemistry teachers from public schools in the city of Sousa, in Paraíba - Brazil took place.

With a degree in Chemistry from the Federal Institute of Paraíba and a Technician in Agriculture from the same institution, Ranniery Santos returned in less than two years as a teacher at the same Federal Institute from which he graduated and is currently in the final phase of his Master's degree, combining the study of agriculture with pure and applied Chemistry.
