Organizational forgetting as one of the important dimensions of organizational knowledge management in the success of various management models has an essential application. In this research, the relationship between strategic thinking and organizational forgetting were studied with the success of organizational excellence model establishing. The two main causes of organizational forgetting, including purposefulness and randomness along with the three main factors of strategic thinking: vision, creativity, and systematic thinking also were investigated. Empowerments and results, which are two key parts of organizational excellence models were considered as well.
