-Polytechnics should come up with mobile computing standards and regulations that stipulate the minimum requirements in terms of technologies and their usage. -The institutions should team up and invest in one technology at a time in order to benefit from economies of scale. -They should approach industry and commerce with one voice in search of funding for ICT and related technologies -They should invest in skills upgrading for ICT services staff to ensure that they are able to service and manage the ever changing technology. -Polytechnics should always consult and share experiences with regards to mobile computing and ICT investments in general. -They should encourage students and staff to use digital curricula for their teaching and learning. -They should have a holistic approach in determining ICT requirements, which should include students, academic staff and administrative staff, rather than focus on a single group, such as students only.
