The present study was carried out to investigate the Phytochemical and Pharmacological screening such as thrombolytic, cytotoxic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial effect of crude methanol extract of Stem barks of Streblus asper L .(Family: Moraceae) and it¿s sub fractions such as N-hexane, Dichloromethane, Chloroform and Ethyl acetate extracts. Preliminary Phytochemical screening demonstrated the presence of Glycosides, Steroids, Saponins, Tannins and Resins. An in vitro thrombolytic activity on methanol, Dichloromethane and water extracts showed 13.071% (P = < 0.005), 23.319% (P = <0.005) and 31.28% (P = <0.0001) clot lyses respectively in different blood sample. The cytotoxic activity of the Streblus asper L. barks extracts of different fractions were assayed by ¿Brine shrimp lethality bioassay' method. In brine shrimp lethality bioassay, the Significant LC50 values of the methanol, chloroform, ethyl acetate were found 125.892¿g/ml, 100¿g/m1, 89.125¿g/m1 and LC90 were found 630.95¿g/ml, 562.34¿g/m1, 501.187¿g/m1 respectively indicating promising cytotoxic effect. The anti-inflammatory effect of the extracts was determined by egg albumin test.
