The aim of this work was to study the different solid forms of Amantadine hydrochloride, possible co-crystals, produce new solid forms by using different selected solvents to produce new solid forms and diffraction quality crystals analyse the structure determine at where possible. By using different sophisticated equipment, methodology concluded that the new polymeric form such as SXD-Single Crystal X-ray Diffractions , PXRD- Powder X-ray Diffraction, DSC- Differential Scanning Calorimetry, STA-Simultaneous Thermal Analysis, TG-Thermo Gravimetric Analysis., VTPXRD-Variable Temperature Powder X-ray Diffractometer. The PXRD pattern was given interesting results when it compared with raw powder pattern. So sample was run for STA and the results was showing mass loss with endoderm and it was conclude as solvate and VTPXRD patterns was collected at different temperatures for final conclusion compared with raw pattern.
