Safflower is an important rabi oilseed crop and play a key role in the national economy. Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. carthami and Alternaria leaf spot caused by Alternaria carthami reduced the seed yield and oil content. Thus it causes major economic loss.
