North Africa region is classified as one of the wealthiest areas due to natural resource and strategic location, and "the weakness of economic indicators" in this area regarding investment and FDI represents a considerable challenge for governments and policymakers in these countries. Hence, this book aims mainly to have a closer look and stand on the nature of the difficulties faced by these countries regarding implementing investment policies and its mechanism of attracting foreign investment. Through descriptive analysis of investments trend in the last twenty century, and brief descriptive analysis involves main investment constraints in each country. The book also carrying out an empirical analysis is to evaluate the government's role to attract FDI and examine the determinants of FDI inflows to this region.
