Charlotte Eliopoulos, RN, MPH, ND, PhD is a leader in integrating conventional and complementary therapies to empower people to establish positive health practices and manage chronic conditions. During and since her presidency of the American Holistic Nurses Association, she has advocated for a strong nursing leadership role in integrative care and has challenged health care leaders to reconsider the paradigm in which care is provided. In her current role of Executive Director of the American Association for long Term Care Nursing, she promotes holistic health principles and practices to help transform the culture of long term care environments.'
