Gear design is a very complex procedure. The manual design calculation required lots of time. Good gear design required FEA analysis to predict gear failure and a CAD model is required for FEA. The manual method is very complicated to develop a CAD model of the gear. Modeling software's are available to develop CAD model, but for symmetric gear only. So, for modelling of asymmetric gear, the researcher will tend to use the manual method. A CAD model must be edited is the main desire of researchers at root profile. Available modeling software restricts user interference. This book explores a Smart output-based parametric gear modelling system that will reduce lots of time to design and create a CAD model. This system can be finalized gear parameter, material, and edited root profile as per the current research. The whole system is divided into two Program and the Modelling module. The program module will help to finalize the parameters and material. It also generates a set of points. The modeling module generates a CAD model using points that are generated with the help of a finalized parameter. The system allows a user to use an optimized root profile as per current research.
